This includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, site address where the Equipter will be used, and payment information processed securely through Stripe.
  • We also collect insurance certificate information you upload, including your Certificate of General Liability Insurance and any additional insured endorsements.
  • Telematics Data may be collected from the Equipter during the Rental Period, including data about the Equipter's performance, location, and operators, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

2How We Use Your Information

  • We use your information to process rental bookings, schedule delivery and pickup, send booking confirmations and reminders, verify insurance coverage, process payments and refunds, and communicate with you about your rental.
  • We may use your contact information to send service-related notifications, including text message reminders for delivery, pickup, and payment deadlines, and to respond to your inquiries.
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3How We Share Your Information

  • We share your information with service providers who help us operate our business, including Stripe for payment processing, Twilio for text messaging, and our email delivery provider for transactional emails.
  • We may share information with our on-site maintenance partner, Bi-State Equipment Services, when a service call is needed on the Equipter during your rental.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets.

4Data Retention

  • We retain your rental records, signed agreements, and insurance certificates for the duration of your rental and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, and audit purposes.
  • Telematics Data is retained for the Rental Period and for a limited time afterward for maintenance and safety analysis.
  • You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to our legal obligation to retain certain records.

5Data Security

  • We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information using secure servers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls limited to authorized personnel.
  • Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers.
  • Insurance certificates and rental documents are stored in access-controlled cloud storage with row-level security policies that ensure only you and authorized STL Equipter Rentals staff can view your records.

6Cookies and Tracking

  • Our website uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. These cookies are necessary for the site to function and are not used for advertising tracking.
  • We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertising networks.

7Your Rights

  • You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also opt out of text message reminders at any time by contacting us.
